I created the logo and color branding for a startup sales staffing company. The client asked for a bee for the logo mark, but I suggested going for something a little less "expected". I created an abstract "stinger" and included a magnifying glass within the graphic to represent "searching" for talent. In the wordmark of the logo, I added sharp points to a couple of the characters (t & g) to create a bold/edgy typeface, representing the company name.
